Our client based on the outskirt of Barnstaple are seeking a reliable, motivated and hardworking individual for a weighbridge clerk/quarry operative position. You will be part of a small hard working team and will be expected to carry out a variety of tasks at this busy sand and gravel operation.

The job role is multi skilled and will include operating the weighbridge dispatch office, Loading Shovels, Excavators, Dumpers plus the control of the processing plant which also will include manual labour. This position offers an excellent and challenging opportunity for an individual who is highly self-motivated, previous experience is desirable although full training will be given.

The successful candidate must be willing to learn, be very flexible in their approach, and be able to work as a team player as well as on their own initiative but under strict health and safety legislation. To deal successfully with the demands of this position, you will be expected to exhibit interpersonal skills and possess the ability to liaise and communicate at all levels.

Working Hours: 39.50 hrs
Contract Type: Permanent
Shift Description: 6.30am to 16.00pm Monday to Friday
