This is a full-time, permanent job opportunity paying £7.70 per hour with a £30 payment per sleep-in.. We are currently looking for Support Workers to work in a Supported Living Setting. You will need to have previous experience and a driving license is not essential although it would be advantageous.

Responsibilities of Support Worker:

* Supporting individuals with house keeping duties, such as cooking, cleaning, laundry and running errands.
* Working as an effective member of the team.
* Delivering agreed support packages to quality standards.
* Ensuring work is undertaken in line with Health and Safety requirements.
* Assisting the facilitation of effective care pathways.
* Supporting and enabling individuals to access community based services and facilities.
* Supporting individuals with Personal Care including skin care, bathing, showering, oral and intimate care.

Person Specification for Support Worker:

* Willingness to travel to other service when required.
* Driving License is not essential although would be advantageous.
* Display a caring and empathetic approach to people with Learning Disabilities.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Adaptable and able to work in a challenging environment.
* Basic IT skills particularly Microsoft word.
