We are looking to recruit a strong team leader with a professional approach and solid electrical distribution/wholesale/product knowledge. You will be accountable for the commercial success of a busy profitable branch, and the efficient running of the facilities/distribution of goods to customers, effective communication with Head Office and ensuring the job satisfaction, retention and development of all branch personnel.

Key accountabilities:
Meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual branch targets for revenue and profitability
Identifying opportunities and implementing appropriate sales activitiesacross all industry sectors
Developing relationships with suppliers to give strategic product and optimum cost advantage
Retaining the existing client base and maximising revenue from Key Accounts
Acquiring and developing new customer accounts
Managing and motivating personnel, optimising workloads
Overseeing staff development (including identifying needs and managing poor performance)
Managing and applying company operational policy across all personnel
Ensuring the proper use, maintenance and reporting from the “Intact†CRM system
Liaising effectively with Head Office, purchasing, accounts, warehouse and sales teams

Experience and Qualifications:
Significant experience in a similar role and detailed knowledge of the industry are essential
Electrical training would be highly beneficial

Strong leadership and people skills, with the ability to motivate staff in all job functions

Able to multi-task, delegate effectively and re-prioritise on the fly
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Commercial acumen and good understanding of the competitive landscape
Able to generate, monitor and adapt innovative and effective Sales and Marketing strategies

MS Office literate with good Excel spreadsheet skills
Confident CRM user and advocate
Concise, efficient and accurate reporting skills
