Our client is a Top 100 Construction Main Contractor specialising in major Retail, Industrial, Mixed Use and Commercial projects across the UK. We have been asked to look for a Site Manager to manage the Distribution Centre/Shed build aspects of their schemes. You will oversee heavy groundworks, drainage, piling, structural works, external envelope, s.278 / car park works. We are looking for a highly experienced candidate with great drive and energy, a Site Manager that takes ownership of works and leads from the front.
Site Manager Roles & responsibilities:
- Leader on all things Civils
- The ability to solve technically challenging issues
- Sub contractor management
- Be able to draft short term programmes
- Conduct client walk arounds
- Carry out Health & Safety checks daily
- Maintain O+M Manuals
- Review Sub contractor RAMS
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure quality of delivery at all times
Experience required:
- Minimum 5 years Site Manager Experience
- Experience with Steel frame builds, preferably Distribution Warehouses or Mega-sheds.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
- SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS certified
