My client has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for planning and monitoring marketing activity across all disciplines of the business. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the group and brand marketing strategy for the future.
This is a diverse and challenging role that requires travel across the UK to our various locations as well as a close working relationship with the marketing team. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will form part of a pivotal team that will shape the strategy of our business for the next phase of business development with the groups primary franchise partner.
Key areas of the role:
Responsibility for a multi-channel marketing plan. As we are a national business, you will need to have an understanding of local, regional and national demographics to ensure a consistent message is delivered to the target audience.
In-depth knowledge of digital and offline marketing strategy and how to apply this in real life situations.
Budget allocation and monitoring, including ROI analysis.
Ensure all marketing activity is FCA, GDPR and brand compliant.
Building a strong digital presence including, websites, social media and e-commerce.
Coordinate PPC advertising activity and plan and manage a regular schedule of email marketing activity.
Responsible for group PR which will include hosting media contacts at events, managing customer events, PR agencies, vehicle manufacturers and print and digital agencies.
Group coordination and organisation of hospitality and events of various types.
Working with the sales, parts and marketing teams and their appointed agencies to deliver a co-ordinated marketing strategy, and ensure that the group meets all of the requirements of the manufacturer in the marketing arena.
Ensuring that all regions have a marketing plan and actions in place to ensure that maximum points are earned from the Dealer Incentive Programme.
Presenting opportunities, recommendations and results directly to the board.

Attributes Essential Criteria
Digital marketing Deliver an effective social media strategy that
supports the business objectives whilst also documenting how you will look to improve reach, engagement and lead generation.
Look to improve the customer journey, usability, design and content on business website and associated microsites, SEO & overall customer experience.
Write engaging content with excellent attention to detail that is consistent with corporate identity and looks to promote business offers, products & activities
Coordinate pay per click (PPC), display & social advertising activity. Regularly reviewing and amending keywords and ad groups to optimise performance.
Plan and manage a regular schedule of email marketing activity, growing our subscriber base and creating engaging, relevant content including testing to optimise results.
Basic knowledge of HTML and the use of Adobe Dreamweaver or equivalent to create responsive and engaging EDMs (electronic Direct Mailers). Use of Mail Chimp or equivalent.
Produce in depth reports that monitor digital performance and pre-defined KPIs to be delivered on a monthly basis. Full understanding of Google Analytics & Social Management analytics. Achieve Google Certification.
Print & materials
Produce marketing materials that comply with corporate identity guidelines using Adobe Photoshop or equivalent.
Manage the distribution of marketing materials across the business to ensure sales teams are supported.
Ordering of promotional items to achieve best value and inline with corporate identity.
Campaign Management
Produce market compelling multi-channel campaign proposals using the plan on a page (POAP) template that meet the pre-defined brief set out by the commercial director.
Produce campaign wrap up reports that detail the success or failure of marketing campaigns with constructive recommendations and clear KPI metrics
Internal Communications
Manage internal marketing led communications to include newsletters & marketing campaign briefs.
Manage and review intranet for content that will engage staff with, company news, celebration of success, industry news and marketing led campaigns.
Competitor Analysis & Market Insight
Deliver market insight & competitor analysis reports that look to gain understanding of activity within our areas of operation.

Manage day to day requirements at local sites and support the business where requested.
