Do you have an eye for detail and quality with a sympathetic approach to historical gardens?

Our prestigious client is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Grounds Person to develop their career further in grounds keeping and to build on their existing leadership skills.

As the Deputy Grounds Manager you will be joining a busy, close-knit Grounds Team where you will play a key role in managing a large historical estate in beautiful surroundings.

We are looking for someone with experience in all horticultural operations who will manage the maintenance, development and improvement of the gardens, hard and soft landscaping and maintaining garden structures.

You will also assist in the design, growing and planting of floral displays for local and national competitions.

The successful candidate will supporting the Grounds Manager to lead, develop and mentor a team of experienced grounds staff.

We are looking for someone who is NVQ Level 3 Sports Turf Maintenance qualified or equivalent and who has significant grounds maintenance experience.

A driving licence for towing trailers will be advantageous.
