Salary: £32,000-£35,000

Location: Kingston Upon Thames

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm

We are currently recruiting for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a strong knowledge of electrical building service systems. Our client is looking for someone who is dedicated with a good attention to detail ability. You will be on mobile carrying out the planned and reactive maintenance on one of the biggest engineering contracts in London.

The role will be responsible for ensuring compliance checks are completed across the contract and any associated contracts, this may include supporting other local contracts from time to time. In general the role will be required to include the following:

·Installation and maintenance of electrical circuits

·Monthly Emergency Lighting flick tests

·Weekly fire alarm tests

·Monthly tap temperatures

·Weekly flushing of little used outlets

·6 Monthly water tank temperatures

·Escorting Insurance Inspectors where required

·Minor fabric repairs

·Recording all results in associated building logbooks

·Recording all remedial action required and raising helpdesk calls for further support to rectify where required

·Any other tasks that are within ability

Supporting other colleagues with tasks where required

Qualifications or Required Experience:
L8 1 day course and Authorising Engineer assessment to Competent Person.
A recognised electrical City & Guilds or NVQ qualification, preferably earned through an apprenticeship and AE assessment to CP, experience of conducting weekly fire alarm tests, knowledge of intruder alarm system and strong written and communication/computer skills.

Price / Salary: £32000 - £35000/annum
