Opportunity for an experienced Exhibition Marketing Professional to play an integral role in marketing a portfolio of Bridal exhibitions and events.

You'll be working for an award-winning and ever-expanding events and publishing company in London, which specialises in creating industry-leading exhibitions, conferences, awards and publications.

The Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Marketing Executive to support the marketing across a bridal portfolio. This individual will be a competent event marketer, with experience working across the full marketing mix.

This role requires some overnight travel across the UK and working some weekends during events. Time worked will be given be in lieu and travel fully expensed.

Key Requirements:

* Minimum 2 years+ events marketing experience, b2b exhibitions preferred
* Subscriptions marketing experience a bonus, but not essential
* Experienced in taking full ownership of cross-channel marketing campaigns
* A creative thinker
* Analytical and strategic
* Highly adaptable to changing situations and audiences
* Strong interest in developing a successful marketing career

What You'll Be Doing:

* Produce and implement the marketing plan, strategy and communications campaign
* Effectively deliver agreed marketing activity to ensure that department targets are met
* Act as a brand guardian for the various products, ensuring clear and consistent branding wherever and however the brand appears
* Brief external agencies and internal creative team to produce all required marketing collateral, and oversee the work to ensure it meets our quality criteria and is delivered on time and within budget
* Ensure all copywriting is on brand and relevant to target audience
* Continually monitor digital campaigns across the brand, measuring effectiveness and proposing areas for improvement
* Build and maintain a high level of industry knowledge and stay abreast of new trends
* Liaise with exhibitors regularly, in line with our exhibitor engagement strategy, to ensure that all clients are fully supported and that their presence at the show is being promoted to their stockists
* Develop and maintain the event database, ensuring all data is cleaned and managed in line with best practice guidelines
* Attend meetings and other industry events, to build and maintain relationships with retailers and exhibitors - use industry feedback to continually make suggestions on how our products can be improved
* Negotiate marketing partnerships with trade & consumer press, associations and relevant businesses and ensure both sides of the agreements are implemented
* Work closely with colleagues in other areas of the portfolio to maximize cross marketing opportunities
* Keep sales tools such as media packs up-to-date and in the appropriate style, and liaise regularly with the sales team to ensure that their activity is fully supported
* Put together a thorough post-show analysis after every event, providing recommendations to improve future shows
* Effectively track all marketing activity to measure effectiveness, and continuously look for opportunities for improvement
* Monitor competitors activities and events and benchmark against them
* Produce onsite materials including signage, show guides, catwalk programmes etc
