Electronics Inspector

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate build standards and level of quality is maintained throughout production to final inspection activity.

Responsibilities:
Provide stage and final inspections activities at assembly and post-test stages
Inspection of metalwork and circuits (bare-boards & assembled)
Ensure completion and accuracy of all necessary production documentation
Inspect manufactured products are assembled to specification or relevant build standards
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Support other areas of quality inspection
Make decisions on defects/acceptable work
Maintain Production Inspection Record (PIR)
Raise and advise on Non-Conformance Reports (faults or quality)
Assist the Quality department in identifying production issues
Liaise with suppliers and customers in regard to issues of quality
Collate, review and report internally generated SPC & Key Characteristic (KC) data from build & test stages to ensure adherence to product specification.

Key Attributes
Experienced Electronics Inspector using intricate measuring equipment
Working in an engineering manufacturing environment
Experience of assembly stage inspection
Computer literate, including e-mail and excel

Price / Salary: £20000 - £25000/annum
