Business Systems Analyst - Up to £45k + 10% Bonus

Mane are recruiting on behalf of a global organisation headquartered in Romford that provide solutions and delivers to assets and goods to customers and businesses. The growing organisation is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to oversee the organisation's delivery lifecycle with the customer from pre-sales, technical support, development support, test support as well as being available in a post-sales capacity where necessary.

The business systems analyst is responsible for analysing, documenting and proposing solutions for large and/or complex business areas for customers. The business systems analyst will prepare technical documentation, impact assessments, interface control documents and functional specifications relating to online shipping systems, platforms and interfaces.

Business Systems Analyst Responsibilities:

* Capture customer business requirements
* Analyse client systems and business processes
* Writing of project impact assessments
* Creating logical and innovative solutions to complex problems
* Design specific technical solutions for modified or replacement customer systems
* Present functional specifications to clients
* Develops, plans manages and implements improvement projects information
* Prepares and initiates action to take advantage of potential business opportunities.
* Interaction with Project Management team
* Strong ability to work with both internal and external clients

The right Business Systems Analyst will have the following experience:

* Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes.
* Demonstrable experience writing Requirements Specifications for Information Systems.
* A proven track record in Software Development & Internet based applications
* SDLC: End to end experience of the project life cycle
* Proven experience interacting directly with end users & customers
* Results orientated with good communication and interpersonal skills
* Advanced level use of Microsoft Office suite of applications: e.g. Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Project
* Graphical Packages for capturing and editing screen-shots of systems and images
* Must be able to manage own time and work priorities

Desirable (None essential but areas for personal and career growth)

* Computer Science Degree
* IT under graduate qualification
* Supply Chain, Freight Logistics, Mail or Parcel Carrier Industry experience
* Experience of presenting to end clients
* Demonstrable experience of the production of technical training manuals or guides
* Experience in the provision of end or power user training
* Demonstrable experience of graphical user interface design for the web
* Experience of web and accessibility standards
* Experience of PRINCE2 methodology (for example PRINCE 2 foundation level)
* Experience of ITIL (Foundation level)
* Microsoft Visio Pro (UML/2) or equivalent
* Rational Rose (UML/2) or equivalent
* Enterprise Architect Software Package or equivalent
