Red Personnel have an exciting new opportunity! Our client, a leading professional membership organisation and regulatory body (within the medical field) are recruiting for a Policy Administrator for their central Edinburgh office (EH2 area).
The role is a 6 month fixed term contract, working full-time 35 hours per week and paying £25,240 per annum (pro rata) plus excellent benefits.
The Policy Administrator will provide administrative and policy support to key Officers within the organisation. This will also include working both on policy and parliamentary issues, with Departments / Faculties and other groups in Scotland. The day to day tasks will include face to face contact and interaction with their membership and stakeholders, as well as scanning the policy environment.
The Policy Administrator will most likely have:
- Good experience working in a relevant organisation
- Good administrative and minute taking skills
- Research experience and skills
- Experience in policy and parliamentary affairs will be an advantage
- Knowledge of Mental Health/Scottish Mental Health policy will be desirable
- Proven ability to work under pressure, managing several deadlines at the same time
- Excellent IT, communication, organisational and written skills
- Willingness to travel when required
