Service Engineer (Medical Equipment)

North West Territory

£28,000 to £32,000 Base Salary + Overtime (OTE £35,000) + Car (Mercedes/BMW/Audi) + Benefits + 22 Days Holiday (Increasing to 28) + Bank Holidays + Progression + Training

Service Engineer required for a leading global provider of medical products. The role will suit an ambitious professional seeking a position that offers overtime and training.

The successful candidate will ideally come from an electrically biased background with a knowledge of fault finding and repair. Candidates with a City and Guild qualification are encouraged to apply to carry out PPM testing however this is NOT essential as the company are willing to invest in the successful candidate.

The role will involve carrying out maintenance on endoscopy equipment including washer/disinfectors. Experience with this is desirable however this is NOT essential as full product training can be provided.

You will be based from home covering the North from Leeds to Liverpool to Burnley. You will be servicing medical equipment in hospitals, laboratories and pharmaceutical companies. Overtime will be available in the week and at weekends, paid at premium rates.

The role:

* Servicing & testing medical equipment such as endoscopy, autoclaves and washers/disinfectors

* Working within Hospitals, Pharmaceuticals factories and medical testing centres

* Only very occasional stay away (one night every six weeks approximately)

The person:

* Ideally hold an electrical qualification

* Proven experience with fault finding and repair.

* Happy servicing the North West territory ideally live near Warrington

* Must have full Driving Licence & pass security clearance checks as working in hospitals

Price / Salary: £26000 - £30000/annum
