We have an exciting new position for a Risk Assessor to work a full-time, permanent job based in Gloucester.

Job purpose:

To support the HSE Gold standard project, the successful candidate will be expected to establish and deliver risk assessments of equipment and workstations, ensuring that ergonomic and human factors are taken into consideration.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience in a HSE, Quality or Lean environment that involves risk based assessment and areas for improvement.
Effective organisational skills to ensure coordination of risk assessments across several areas of the business.
Ability to analyse the interaction between people and machinery/equipment
Identify problems by observing and interviewing individuals in particular environments

Knowledge & Skills:

Effective communication skills across all levels.
Compiling and presenting information verbally and in writing
Good numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills

Behaviours/Characteristics:

A flexible approach with ability to adapt to different working environments.
High levels of change energy, demonstrated motivation towards change implementation.
The ability to grasp technical concepts
An interest in human behaviour in different situations

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:

In conjunction with the Project Sponsor, identify all work stations that require being risk assessed.
Working to a tight project deadline, take responsibility for the completion of on-site Risk Assessments in line with the Safran HSE plan.
To act as the focal point for Risk Assessments and identifying all red risks together with recommendations in risk reduction.
