Do you love being an important part of the Supply Chain experience working from an office environment? As a Supply Chain Administrator you will be the main link co-ordinating all the outbound supply chain activities, from purchase order to invoice. The Supply Chain Co-ordinator will take pride in getting the right product to the right place at the right time.
Working for one of the most prestigious seafood companies in Grimsby, your role as Supply Chain Administrator will be to contribute to the smooth running of this department, providing chilled produce to the major supermarket leaders and retail outlets.
Supply Chain Administrator`s main responsibilities:
- Daily despatch of chilled seafood to the retail sector and food service
- Daily production of sales invoices, retail, food service and export
- Pallet Control
- Report co-ordinating of non-delivery, rejection and price queries
- Production of sales data for financial and operational departments
- Production of reports for the Supply Chain Manager
- Checking supplier invoice payments
- Support the Supply Chain Manager to ensure customer satisfaction by high levels of customer service
- Ensure all chilled retail customers are charged the agreed price
Supply Chain Administrator`s key skills:
- Previous experience working in a similar environment desirable, but not essential
- Good level of IT Literacy (including computerised accounting systems, bespoke at present changing to Sage X3 shortly)
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Knowledge of Retail Partner Web sites an advantage
- Able to remain calm when working under pressure, to deadlines and when dealing with setbacks or obstacles
- Driving licence essential (transport will be provided to drive between sites)
