Compliance Surveyor
Birmingham
3 month temporary contract
£19-22 p/h
37 hours per week

Housing Association looking for a Compliance Surveyor to immediately join their team and cover for sick leave.

As the Compliance Surveyor you will:

*Responsibility for undertaking, producing and subsequent action plans in relation to Fire Risk Assessments under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Act 2005
*Damp Surveys
*Undertake assessments to produce Energy Performance Certificates as required for lettings
*Carry out surveys to identify breaches of s11 of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985, producing reports and schedules of work.
*Stock condition Surveys
*D2D survey inspections
*Carry out hazard assessments under the Housing Health and Safety Rating System
*Ensure that repair targets are met and that contracts are monitored in line with their specifications and health and safety legislation

To be successful as the Compliance Surveyor you need:

*A HNC in Construction Management and/or experience of leading a project or team in property inspection procedures
*A detailed understanding of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) order 2005
*An understanding and awareness of the implications and risks associated with Asbestos in buildings and its management
*Experience in the identification of different types of dampness and the ability to recommend and schedule the correct remedial work
*An understanding of Energy Efficiency in dwellings.
*Experience in producing, maintaining and updating Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft word documents.
