A fantastic opportunity is immediately available for a Near Chartered/ Chartered Structural Engineer to become an important part of a highly respected, highly specialist Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Cambridgeshire. Our client boasts an impressive and ever expanding portfolio and are looking to welcome the successful applicant to play a leading role in the delivery of a wide range of projects across the residential, commercial and even historical sectors amongst others and are looking to welcome a Structural Engineer to the team to play a leading part in a number of upcoming projects. Our client is looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000 for this role, in addition to offering a number of exciting benefits and company pension.

In order to be considered for this Near Chartered/ Chartered Structural Engineer role you will:

* Hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Be working towards Chartership with ICE or IStructE, if not Chartered already
* Possess a thorough understanding of British Codes of Practice
* Possess an excellent understanding of AutoCAD
* Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

Key responsibilities of this Near Chartered/ Chartered Structural Engineer role include:

* Play a leading part in the delivery of a range of Building Structures projects from inception to completion
* Aid the development of more junior employees
* Assist in bid proposals
* Attend site projects and design meetings as required
* Lead small projects independently and under minimal supervision
* Create, develop and maintain strong working relationships with valued clients
