Highway Operatives

Carrington West on behalf of their client is recruiting for a number of Highway Operatives across various locations in Somerset.

The role of Highway Operative will require the undertaking of general infrastructure maintenance duties, a verity of civils activities and cover for an element of inspection duties. Availability to undertake winter and emergency maintenance out of hour's activities on a standby rota basis throughout the year.

Skills/ qualifications

·HGV / LGV
·New Roads and Street Works (NRSWA) Operative Accreditation (preferred)
·CPC road sweeper (desirable)
·TBNNB (desirable)
·CPCS A09 (desirable)
·CPCS A59a / A59b (desirable)
·CSCS
This is a contract opportunity initial duration 2 months possible extension and permanent roles.
