I am currently working with a client in Barking, East London who are hiring for experienced Senior Site Managers for a temporary vacancy. The client I am working with is a respected main contractor in the industry and delivers high profile projects throughout the UK. The project is a £10 Million industrial scheme consisting of warehouses.

The successful candidate will be managing the project from start to finish. The role will last for approximately 7 months with scope of extension of contract on a different project.

Duties:

Managing site team

Main point of contact with the client

Responsible for quality of workmanship in all areas on site

Responsible for all health & safety awareness throughout the site

Regular liaison with sub-contractors

Co-ordination of schedule

Control of works on site in conjunction with other members of site management team

Commercial awareness and control

Awareness of programme constraints and driving works to meet targets

Candidate Profile:

Build background with industrial, distribution or warehouse construction

Previous experience in a similar role

Significant management experience

Able to maintain a positive and safe working environment for site based staff

Benefits: Negotiable

Price / Salary: £270 - £330/day Negotiable
