Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and confident individual who would take responsibility for the management of Customer Services, working for a market leading business.
Based out of a fast moving distribution centre, you will lead a team of Customer Service Assistants to deliver an excellent service to meet the needs of their customers, many of which are key national account customers.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Train and develop individuals to a deliver a high level of customer service
- Ensure the team support the warehouse operation teams to optimize KPIs and minimise costs whilst
- building strong relationships with supply chain
- Investigate and solve customer problems promptly and handle challenging customer queries
- Analyze statistics and internal data to interpret the level of service being provided and implement improvements to areas not achieving company standards
- Ensure customer surveys are completed to target expectations and Customer Satisfaction results are interpreted and published
- Contribute to driving, developing and implementing customer services procedures, policies and standards for continuous improvement
- Build and maintain helpful working relationships with both external customers and liaise with other depots within the business
- Support National Account Managers to provide information for business/account development purposes.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience
- Previous experience in a customer service environment
- Experience of working within a logistics or depot/distribution network environment
- Excellent communication skills, developed through previous experience of dealing directly with multi-site national account customers
- Strong organisational skills and time management techniques to balance priorities effectively whilst managing multiple work streams to tight time lines.
- Able to identify improvement opportunities and effectively utilise tools available to achieve and maintain an efficient way of working.
- Proficient in the use of Excel, SAP and Business Objects
