Field Service Engineer

Ipswich

£27,000 + Unlimited Overtime (OTE £35,500) + Van + Holidays + Training

Monday to Friday 45hr week, overtime paid at 1.5 x base rate

Field Service Engineer position offering great training programme at a plant hire and servicing company. The company is looking to expand their team of service engineers due to planned gradual expansion.

The role will be suitable for multi-skilled maintenance or service engineers / technicians from any kind of maintenance / service background including Construction plant, agricultural, mining machinery, automotive technicians/HGV or ex forces engineers from REME, Navy or RAF backgrounds.

You will initially be based at the companys workshop in order to complete full product training for up to 3 months. After this period you will move on to field service based work, travelling around to customer sites, servicing heavy plant machinery. After your 3 month training period you will be given a van to use solely for work purposes with a fuel card.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable plant hire company. They offer great training and development, will a full 3 months of product training available before starting the full field service role. You can bump up your earnings to £35,500 with overtime.

The role:

* Travelling to customer sites around Ipswich

* Servicing and maintaining heavy plant equipment

The person:

* Mechanically biased engineer

* Basic electrical understanding

* Experience maintaining and servicing heavy plant machinery

* Live within 45 minute commute to Ipswich

* Full Driving License
