PMO Account Manager

Purpose of role

To be responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of a portfolio of projects and deliverables.

Portfolio Programme Lead

Partner with functional leads to mitigate obstacles, barriers and risks to successful execution of projects within assigned portfolio
Establish the control programme for all Client planned and approvedactivities
Strategically manage delivery across all Client workstreams. Ensure relevant, to the point, flash reports are available to the Client including portfolio status overviews
Identify and manage risk reporting from a portfolio wide perspective
Develop an improved Client Initiation and Handover strategy
Chair programme related focus groups / meetings
Implement project alignment strategies e.g. Touch once / Clash and Efficiency Programme
Management (across all Client workstreams)
Performance / KPI Management - programme level/data management; provide context to data
Set the standard for the process control requirements and templates - provide assurance and quality standards
Drive Consistency across Client programmes
Portfolio Oversight with delivery partners and Supplierco-ordination
Recommend Supply chain allocation and approach - by size/proportion/KPIs
Flag/escalate programme or governance issues to Client Project Delivery Managers
Objectives and goals - drive the delivery of other enabling improvement and continuous improvement generally
Seek efficiencies / added value / economies across programmes
Provide tools to help support the delivery of projects
Seek supply chain simplification opportunities

Project Delivery

Manage and improve processes, procedures and protocols
Define and identify key stakeholders associated with the gateway approval management of individual workstreams, and ensure their expectations are metInteract with individual in-country
CRM's to ensure vision and understanding of in-country operational requirements and maintain compliance with clients current delivery standards (Commercial, Design, MEP, HSE etc)
Develop, manage and monitor suitable processes to ensure project delivery in accordance with the PMO Operational Guide and all associated tools (update and/or evolve where necessary).
Identify and review client Capital Investment Plan (CIP) and how projects are allocated to optimise opportunities and for the PMO to expand its engagement to a wider client focused offer
Investigate, test, improve and maintain the necessary management tools to allow the enhanced delivery and ensure compliance with local code and PMO operating protocols
Support the Pan European delivery trends in the delivery of the individual programmes of works within individual country portfolios (as required).

Commercial

Identify risks with Head of Finance and put in place measures to minimise these risks

Price / Salary: £60000 - £70000/annum Plus Package
