Job Title: Design Engineer

Type of Role: Permanent

Location: West Midlands

Base Salary: £30k - £37k depending upon experience

Company:

Engineering Manufacturing Business - do you have experience in mechanical engineering and fabrication?

- Working hours Monday - Thursday: 8am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am to lunchtime

Responsibility of the Role include but are not limited to:

- Concept product design right through to detail design
- Fulfilling customer specification & budget requirements
- Handling the production of detail drawings for an in-house product for instance welded fabrications/sheet metal
- Producing BOM documentation

Key Requirements:

- A relevant engineering qualification, minimum HNC
- SolidWorks/AutoCAD
- Proven experience in Mechanical Engineering and Fabrications

Essential:

- Proven experience in Design Detail experience
- Proven experience in Sheet Metal Fabrication experience

Beneficial:

- Experience of Project Engineering an advantage
- Experience of materials handling
