JOB TITLE: Estates Admin Officer
SALARY & BENEFITS: £19,559
WORKING HOURS: 37 hours per week but some flexibility may be required.
THE COMPANY: Our client is an organisation that supports the reserve forces and cadets in the
Yorkshire and Humber area. They have an exciting opportunity available for an Estates Admin Officer to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
THE ROLE: Your role as an Estate Admin Officer will be to provide administrative support for the two Estates Surveyors and Estates Department whilst being the main point of contact on the Departmental help desk.
Key Responsibilities/duties of an Estates Admin Officer to include:-
Administer by way of a help desk or equivalent works request call out system within the department and passing on messages or action points to the relevant Estate Surveyor.
Entering Fault Reports and invoices or other input data on to the Symphony system
Raise works requests and administer requests / invoices
Tenders (excluding contract tenders) prepare, check all documents, collate information, number and enter into tender book
Office administration for the department
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will need to be self- motivated, highly organised and able to identify and prioritise targets. You must be a good communicator with the ability to work under deadlines and be a strong team player. You will need to live within a commutable distance to York.
Key experience essential for the role of Estates Admin Officer:-
Strong IT skills, especially familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
A full clean driving licence and use of a pool car for business travel is provided
Previous experience in administration
