Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Reports To: Design Manager

Are client is currently recruiting an Electrical Design Engineer for a waste to energy plant in Birmingham. This £54m cap-ex project will burn refuse derived fuel which is subject to a strict environmental permit. The steam turbine will produce up to 10MW to the grid.

Working with a dynamic team the successful candidate will be based in either the Dublin or London office and will have regular visits to site.

Responsibilities:

Management of specialist Electrical and process suppliers throughout design process
Review/checking of all design input from specialist suppliers
Design of balance of plant Electrical systems (HVAC, hot and cold water supply etc)
Interface with other disciplines throughout design process
Preparation of bid packages for Electrical contractors
Review of contractor bids in conjunction with commercial team

Candidate Profile:

Electrical Engineering degree
At least 5 years experience working in design engineering role

Location:

Dublin or London
Flexibility to travel between site and office as/when necessary

Salary is negotiable dependent upon experience.
