Change & Knowledge Manager - Oxfordshire - 1 year FTC

This is an exciting opportunity for a Change / Knowledge Manager to join a large organisation during a time of transformation.
You will be working closely with all areas of the business but specifically with the IT and IS departments.

The purpose of this role is to:
- Manage all of the Information Systems/IT portfolio changes, ensuring the impact is managed effectively to ensure delivery of desired outcomes,
- Ensure that standardised ITSM governance methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all changes, and maintain the proper balance between the need for IS/IT change and the potential detrimental impact
- Support the end to end transition and deployment of new and changing services from Service Design phase into Service Operations
- Support stakeholders with elements of organisational change and readiness activities, ensuring the business is prepared for change
- Champion organisation-wide knowledge sharing
- Provide direct support to the Business Improvement team with the definition, scoping and implementation of infrastructure related improvements, including the tracking and realisation of benefits for IS/IT related changes

Essential Experience & Qualifications:
- Managing IS/IT changes using a recognised methodology
- Strong understanding of Information Systems principles and architecture
- Knowledge of IT Infrastructure
- Knowledge Management principles, tools and techniques (i.e. SKM)
- Impacting, assessing and planning for organisational change
- Formal Project Management qualification or equivalent experience (Prince 2, APMP, Agile, or similar)
- Working knowledge of MS Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint with Project & Visio
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business, including external sponsors and stakeholders
- Eligible to obtain Security Clearance at SC level
- Experience of working in the Aerospace and/or Defence sector
