Sales Administrator (Automotive)
Location: West London
Salary up to £25,000pa (Depending on experience)
We are looking for an experienced Sales Administrator who has automotive knowledge to join our lovely, friendly family run environment. Someone who can take responsibility of their own work, take initiative and ensure the smooth running of the Sales department.
Please note this is a temporary role with the opportunity for a permanent position.
Sales Administrator Duties & Responsibilities
·To ensure the efficient administration of all new and used vehicles for the Sales Department, effectively supporting all departments with the flow of communication and administration as necessary.
·Order all new vehicles on the ordering system in line with direction from Sales manager. Ensure the accuracy of orders against current specification codes for standard and factory fitted equipment.
·Monitor continuously the order and delivery progress (either to UK or overseas).
·Collate and record all new/used vehicle information on to the Kerridge DMS. Ensure files are created and maintained for all new vehicles, both customer sold and demonstrator cars.
·On completion of vehicles sale ensure routing of documentation to all appropriate departments.
·Assist (when required) in arranging Registration and Vehicle Excise Licences for all sold vehicles
·Also, assist with the preparation of the necessary delivery documentation, including log books, vehicle books and invoices.
·Daily banking to be consolidated, with the local cash summaries being maintained.
·Work with the sales manager to ensure all invoicing and commissions are inputted on to the Kerridge system on a weekly basis and the required sales data is supplied.
·Actively support the external sales staff & agents where required, providing relevant information and feedback on customer orders and product matters. Process all new orders and progress them in line with direction from sales manager.
·To provide data input to Sales department as necessary.
·To carry out any further duties within capabilities when requested by management.
·To comply with all the Quality Standards agreed within the Company and to have personal responsibilities for the dealerships established Policy and Procedures.
Sales Administrator Skills & Qualifications
·Prior sales administrator experience within an automotive environment is essential
·Must have a pro-active approach to their work and be able to work using your own initiative as well as part of a team
·Must be an effective communicator
·Must be confident in invoicing
Must have Automotive / Motor Trade experience!
Price / Salary: £20000 - £25000/annum
