You will join one of the UK`s leading providers of support services for people with diverse and often complex needs in community settings. You will become part of an established managerial team and work closely with a care focussed and hands on area manager to set up, promote and manage a Coventry based independent living scheme for adults with learning disabilities.
Your job role as flat scheme manager will require you to promote an enabling environment, ensuring high standards of professional practice, whilst achieving compliance with external regulatory standards. You will provide specific management, support, advice and motivation to your staff team to ensure that the people who use your service are supported to be as independent as possible and achieve their goals.
You will embrace the challenge of setting up a new service and have flexibility to participate in the "on call" rota. You will be the driving force behind referalls and will ensure that your service is the service of choice for adults looking for supported living settings in the Coventry borough.
To thrive and succeed in the role of flat scheme manager, you must have a "can do" attitude, a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all CQC policies and procedures and most importantly, be committed to person centred care approaches.
Already a deputy manager within a similar setting or a skilled manager who is looking to put their stamp on a brand new service, you will be able to demonstrate a significant background within the learning disabilities sector and hold a relevant care qualification (RMA/QCF 5 in health and social care/QCF in leadership and management for care). Your managerial knowledge and experience will be comprehensive and you will be able to demonstrate a proven understanding of all CQC and regulatory standards.

Your proven knowledge and experience will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary ranging from £24000 to £26000 per annum.
