Award winning recruitment Company Templine are looking to recruit a PCB Production Technician to join our Client on a permanent basis in Ashby.

The Technician will be required to contribute to process improvements, maintain good house-keeping standards including following lean principles and 5S.

Main duties include;

* Ability to work to IPC-A-610 standard
* Ability to assemble & solder surface mount and through hole PCB components by hand
* Ability to operate & maintain a wave solder machine
* Ability to work from Engineering drawings
* If suitably trained to consult with Engineering on new products so as to eliminate production problems
* On-line PCB testing and fault finding
* Suitable trained to carry out advanced PCB rework when required
* To ensure testing methods identify all problems during the testing process and to feedback any inadequacies in the testing methods to engineering
* To ensure that tools / fixtures / jigs are fit for purpose and calibrated
* Any other duties as required by the Client

Person specification;

* A minimum of 1-3 years experience gained in a similar environment
* Ability to fault find and diagnose problems
* Good concentration and excellent attention to detail
* Able to produce work of a high quality
* Dextrous and able to work on small products
* A flexible and co-operative approach

Job details;

* Permanent
* Days - Monday to Thursday 0805 to 1655 & Friday 0805 to 1530
* £19-20k per annum depending on experience
* 22 days holiday to start plus bank holidays when permanent
* Profit related bonus scheme
