Mears are recruiting for exciting and innovative services based in the Guildford and Waverly Borough regions.

Initially on a 6 month contract you will be working 37.5 hours a week covering shifts 7am 2.30pm or 2.30pm-10pm which will include working every other weekend.

Supporting hospital discharges you will be based out of Guildford, and cover the large area of Guildford and Waverley Borough Council, so your own transport is essential to this role.

The role will involve:

* Providing personal care and support to clients including washing, bathing and toileting
* Healthcare, including assisting the service user to take medication as appropriate
* Providing practical support and domestic tasks including laundry, cleaning, shopping and preparing and cooking meals
* Accompanying individuals in social activities and assist in developing and maintaining the social interests of the individual
* Providing specialised care for clients with more complex needs if required

The successful candidate will have:

* A minimum of 1 years previous care experience .
* Social care, Health Care, Childcare, Food Safety certifications or similar
* Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure, which will be paid for by Mears
