**We are** looking to recruit a personal assistant to support a lady living in her own home with her family in Wisbech. Our client has an acquired brain injury sustained in a motorbike accident. She is registered blind with no vision in her left eye and less than 20% vision in her right eye.

**The role includes** supporting her with her daily routine including, meal preparation and driving/accompanying her to the gym, on outings and to appointments. Undertaking some household chores will also be part of the role. Any successful candidate should be able to work in a small team, and in an informal friendly setting.

**We are looking for** reliable people with good communication skills, a positive attitude and a good sense of humour. Must be an animal lover, trustworthy and able to proactive and able to come up with interesting ideas. An understanding of visual impairment would be an advantage. Applicants should have previous experience of working or volunteering in the care industry. Successful candidates will be required to undertake training and regular supervisions. Must be a driver with a clean license, access to a vehicle and hold business insurance or wiling to obtain it.

**Average 8 hours per week** **based on a 4 week rolling rota**

Week 1: Monday - 8am 5pm

Week 2: Wednesday - 8am 5pm

Week 3: Tuesday - 8am 5pm

Week 4: Thursday 8am 10.30am and 2.30pm 5pm

**Rate of Pay: £9.75 per hour.**
