Pineshield are looking for enthusiastic Senior Social Care Workers to join our team, to deliver outcome based care with the sensitivity required to provide services in a way which will preserve the dignity, privacy, choice, independence, fulfilment and rights of the people we support.

The Senior Social Care Workers duties will include:

* Collecting and auditing records in a timely manner
* Offering support and guidance to the team
* Mentoring new members of staff
* On Call duties
* Carrying out reviews and staff monitoring as requested
* Recognising changes in the needs or circumstances of the people we support

The successful Senior Social Care Worker will have:

* The ability to recognise poor practice
* An understanding of the principles of Empowerment
* Working Knowledge of the Safeguarding Process
* Ability to recognise and report hazards
* Able to carry out moving and positioning techniques
* Ability to show empathy
* Accurate Record Keeping
* Ability to work as a team

* Excellent understanding of confidentiality
