**( Reporting to Procurement Supervisor)**
**JOB PURPOSE**
Manage a portfolio of purchased items (from order entry to on site goods receipt), whilst respecting stock level, delivery schedule and quality targets (quality figures & service rate from our suppliers).
**KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**
* Communicate to external suppliers the procurement needs based on the quantities & delivery time given by the ERP system
* Goods receipt for POs/MOs/DOs.
* Manage delivery priorities with the supplier depending on the needs given by the ERP system & the capacity constraints of the supplier
* Update the delivery times confirmed by the supplier in the ERP system
* Communicate to sales operation all information regarding late deliveries
* Optimise the stock level of the company in relation with the Sales inventory & operations planning & achieve the target stock rotation.
* Put in place the necessary actions with the suppliers to reach the defined service rate (>91% value).
* Check transporter & supplier invoices.
* Manage delivery deviations into DC2 with the suppliers, goods in department & finance to settle the invoice litigations.
* Post Inventory Customisation (PIC) Generate material orders based on customer specific items/orders.
* Creation of Distribution Orders (DOs) between DCs.
* Stock transactions (add ons) and item lifecycle (discontinuations in DC2).

* **JOB DIMENSION**
The procurement assistant reports to the procurement supervisor and at the upper level of the SIOP DC2 Manager.
* **TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS**
* Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook, good communication skills written and verbal.
* Ability to multitask, have good time management skills.
* Working knowledge/experience of ERP systems.
* Excellent Communicator, good telephone manner and fluent in written and oral English.
* HND/HNC/A- level education or minimum 2 years experience in Operations
