Reporting to the Head of Technical Services the EPOS Engineer will primarily support technical hardware and software installation projects. Duties will include:

* Creation of installation documentation for third party companies
* Staging of EPOS systems prior to installation
* Attending customer sites and meetings to scope out project requirements;
* Attending pilot installations to determine and recommend best installation practices;
* Creation of Installation scripts and support documentation for third party companies and internal departments;
* Staging and configuration of EPOS equipment and Payment devices, Operating systems / software loading and configuration.

The successful EPOS Engineer will have:

* Excellent working knowledge of EPOS Systems and peripherals, maintenance and installations
* Micros / Oracle EPOS hardware / software experience would be advantageous
* Knowledge of Payment devices is desirable, but not essential, as training will be provided
* Good working knowledge of MS Windows all versions
* Knowledge of Android and iOS operating systems
* Working knowledge of Networks wired and wireless /Switches/Routers/ IP addressing
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and Outlook
* A flexible working attitude, self-motivation and the ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to work under pressure
* Team player with good communication skills
* Full driving licence

The position will be based in Coalville, but will require flexibility in working hours and travel, some overnight stays will be required. The standard working hours are 9:00 am to 5:15 pm with a ¾ hour unpaid lunch break.
