An exciting opportunity has arisen for a recent graduate who is interested in plant extracts for cosmetic ingredients to join our team at our new facility in Edinburgh, Scotland. In return, we offer a highly competitive salary of £20-30K per annum depending on experience.

The Secrets of Caledonia is a sister company of The Garden of Natural solution, a leading supplier and researcher of natural cosmetic ingredients since 2004. Taking advantage of Scotlands vast history of herbal remedies and biodiversity, our company provides European natural ingredients.

The Science Graduate Production Operative will be involved in the production and basic QC analysis of plant extracts for cosmetic and personal care products. Although the primary role is production, there is the opportunity to work more on product development and marketing, based on training achievement and company needs. Experience is not essential.

The Science Graduate Production Operatives role will involve:

* Business product development
* Operating lab and factory equipment by training
* Manual lifting of 25 kg
* Working with MS Office programs

The successful Science Graduate Production Operative will have:

* A degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other Bio-Science degrees with practical lab skills or any related science degree
* Creative thinking to achieve a goal
* Excellent communication skills with writhing skills
* Hard-working and motivated ethic
* Ability to prioritize and manage time successfully
