* **Installation of communication equipment associated with alarm panels (Redcare, DualCom, Emizon, Speed Dialers etc.)**
* **Installation of Videofied video technology.**
* **Liaison with Alarm Receiver Centre when setting up communications and testing.**
* **Servicing of Intruder Alarm Systems.**
* **Respond to call outs in a timely manner.**
* **Rectification of faults over the telephone or by personal visit.**

* **Installation of CCTV systems, both analogue and IP based.**
* **Basic knowledge of PC operations.**
* **Good practical skills in wiring and connection techniques with Co-Axial and CAT5 cable.**

* **Knowledge of serial communication protocols - RS232/485 and IP.**
* **Practical skills in soldering and the use of all tools.**
* **Installation of Access Control equipment **
* **Knowledge sharing with other engineers.**
* **Be aware of sales opportunities for upgrades, installs etc.**
* **On job training with junior engineers.**
* **Good knowledge of applicable standards (NACOSS, EN50131, PD6662, DD243**
* **BS4737)**
* **Accurate filling out of job sheets and ensuring specifications are correct.**
* **Ensure that all operations are carried out in a safe manner**
* **A** **ssess own training needs and discuss with Technical Director.**
